Establishing prince Mishal Bin Majed chair for cases of commercial concealment

Prince Mishal Bin Majed, Governor of Jeddah, signed Saturday an agreement to establish Prince Mishal Bin Majed Chair for Business Cover-up (Tasatur Tijari) Studies at King Abdulaziz University (KAU) in the presence of Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, KAU President.
 
Also present in the launch ceremony, which took place at Jeddah Governorate, were KAU vice presidents, Dr Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, Dean of the KAU Research and Consulting Institute (RACI), and Prof Hussam Al-Anqari, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration.

The chair will be dedicated to conduct research on the economic and social impact of Tasatur (providing cover for expatriates to illegally run their own business activities) on the Saudi society and ways to combat the phenomenon, said Prince Mishal.

Prof Tayyeb, Prof A-Anqari and Dr Al-Ghamdi seized the opportunity to show thier deep gratitude to Prince Mishal for sponsoring the chair.

Prof Abdulaziz Diab has been named as the chair's professor, while Dr Ayman Fadel will serve as the chair's supervisor.
